If you have read through some of the other pages on the website, you know that volunteerism is important to the smooth operation of Green Valley. One very important group of volunteers is the Green Valley Sheriff's Auxiliary Volunteers. They assist the Pima County Sheriff's Office, Green Valley offices, to provide crime prevention and support services. Some of the support services they provide include:

- assistance for alzheimer or memory impaired residents
- assistance with property crime reports
- community services
- daily patrols in marked vehicles and on foot
- disaster planning
- emergency response team
- fingerprinting
- home & business security inspections
- justice court bailiffs
- motorized patrol
- neighborhood watch programs
- special events assitance
- traffic control, when needed
- video identification program
